Discussion of Outsourcing and Its Pro and Cons Assignment

Conversation of Outsourcing and Its Pro and Cons - Assignment Example The IT capacities incorporate however not least programming improvement, upkeep or bolster benefits in which the organization regards less expensive to work (Gartner, 2013). This happens when an association finds that it's less expensive to get an outsider to oversee IT than building an in-house IT division, or out-source a product or information stockpiling than purchasing and keeping up its own. IT insourcing is obtaining or reclaiming the IT capacities that have been recently been re-appropriated to a provider or an outsider supplier (3P). In insourcing, the organization assumes responsibility for the significant business procedure and stop entrusting the capacities to a 3P. The primary distinction among insourcing and redistributing comes in the expense of the organization, thus insourcing is progressively costly as the organization needs to begin without any preparation while re-appropriating the work is now streaming and the representatives know about the activity (Marquis, n.d.). To accomplish similar outcomes insourcing firm uses its own gained assets while if there should arise an occurrence of the redistributing the firm uses the assets of the 3P. Insourcing includes setting another area site for the activity site inside the limits of the four dividers of the association, though includes utilizing an office that it’s outside the region of the organization. The insourcing the firm has complete control of the representatives and IT business process; while in re-appropriating the administration needs or has no power over the way 3P works (Marquis, n.d.). IT offshoring is moving of IT business process from the essential nation to another to bring down the regulatory expenses or because of absence of aptitude in the essential nation. This is basically to take preferences of nearby assets, diminishing expenses and expanding the neighborhood piece of the pie; offshoring firm doesn't lose the possession and the activities stay flawless and unaltered (Lu, 2011).â

Best Learning Resources For Self-Studying French

If you dont want to or cannot study French with a tutor,  in a class or in immersion, youll be going it alone. This is known as self-study. There are ways to make self-study effective, but its essential that you pick the right self-study  method for you. After all, you want to spend your time doing something that actually works. So spend some time analyzing whats out there, and dont just take the first self-study path that comes to your attention. Audio Training Is Essential If you want to communicate in French (and not only pass exams or read in French), learning with audio is a must. Theres a huge difference between book French and spoken French, and traditional methods will not prepare you for the way French people actually speak today. French Language  Books French-language books such as childrens books, bilingual books, and audiobooks are a great and relatively inexpensive way to improve your French, in conjunction with audio courses. With Amazon delivering to your doorstep, its easy to order French-language books these days. Hard-copy paper books are still the best way to train on a specific point of grammar  and to do exercises. For all the rest, youll need audio. Childrens Books Reading Le Petit Prince is, for more advanced students, a wonderful way to expand your vocabulary. It is a myth that all French-language childrens books are easy. They are not. Children books are easier than most French books written for the French because they use short sentences, but the language is some French childrens books can be quite difficult. Consider the language used in the Dr. Seuss books. They definitely would not be an easy read for a beginner in English. Bilingual Books Most bilingual-book  series  are taken from free-copyright books and translated into English. They were not typically books written for students. So they are still very difficult and will often feature older French vocabulary and expressions: Find out  when your book  was written, and take this into account when learning the vocabulary. French Audiobooks and Audio Magazines Both of these are a fantastic resource, even though most have been created for the French student. Much of what has been developed for the French is going to be difficult for a beginning or intermediate student of French, so difficult that they could be overwhelming and discouraging. There are, however,  audio magazines that can be used to good effect by beginning and intermediate students of  French. Among the better audio magazines are  Think French,  Bien Dire,  and  Fluent French Audio (although the latter is probably better suited to high-intermediate students). There are also level-adapted French audiobooks and audio novels  with English translations,  such as the À Moi Paris series and Une Semaine à   Paris. French Audio Courses French audio courses are the ideal tool for the self-learner. A good audio course should teach you vocabulary and grammar, if possible in context, and, of course, pronunciation. It should be fun to use, direct you through a well-proven learning path  and nurture your self-confidence. Because they involve a lot of work, these courses are usually quite expensive, so look for a 100 percent money-back guarantee disclaimer, a trial period or extensive samples. Among the good French audio courses:  Michel Thomas,  Assimil,  and French Today. Rosetta Stone language books are a great, fun tool to develop your vocabulary, but they are very light on grammar. This may be fine for other languages, but it is a true problem for French. Do Your Research and Find Whats Best for You There are, of course, still more  methods to learn French. Do your research and find out what methods best fit your needs, goals, time and budget. You wont be sorry.

During Siddharthas Time - Free Essay Example

Sample details Pages: 4 Words: 1128 Downloads: 5 Date added: 2019/07/31 Category Literature Essay Level High school Tags: Siddhartha Essay Did you like this example? When you want to achieve a goal, there are often obstacles that can prevent you from reaching the level of expectation you have for yourself. However, a setback doesnt mean you wont ever reach your goal. In fact, you often learn a lot from your setbacks that can help you in the future. Don’t waste time! Our writers will create an original "During Siddharthas Time" essay for you Create order In Hermann Hesses allegorical novel of spiritual self-discovery, Siddhartha, the authors depiction of the Om and its ability to guide someone through their setbacks is portrayed through Siddharthas turning point, when he experiences the cleansing effects of the Om at the river. During Siddharthas time with the wealthy merchant, Kamaswami, his riches turn him greedy and unhappy. He turns to gambling and binge-drinking to temporarily satisfy him but his high stakes and love for the fear that comes with them drives him to hate himself and grow restless. One night in particular, after he had spent the night with dancing girls and drinking wine, Siddhartha is disgusted with himself and wishes he could rid himself of his pointless life. When he falls asleep that night, he has a vivid dream. In his dream, [Kamalas] little bird was dead, and lay rigid on the floor of the cage. He took it out, and threw it away, out into the lane; and, at the same moment, he received a terrible fright, and his heart ached as if he had cast away everything valuable and good from himself together with that dead bird. (44) Siddhartha interprets the dream as a symbol of the death of all that was good in his soul. Siddhartha realizes that his soul is empty and his life is meaningless. It dawns upon him that he has fallen into samsara, the cyclical pattern of living, suffering, and dying. He leaves the city in despair and heads to the river. In a state of hopelessness, Siddhartha nearly commits suicide. His eyes closed, he was dropping to his death. Just then, from remote regions of his soul, from past periods of his tired life, a sound ran through his mind like a flash. It was a word, a syllable, that he spoke to himself involuntarily in a slurred voice, the sacred om. (47) Siddhartha is stopped by the recognition of the Om from the river. The inner voice that told him to become a samana and to not follow the Buddha has been dormant but is finally awakened. After a deep sleep, Siddhartha is reborn and ready to set out on a new course. With a new outlook on his life, Siddhartha meets Vasudeva, the ferryman, and asks to stay in his hut to learn from the river. While Siddhartha stays with Vasudeva to find the Om at the river, Kamala passes away from a fatal snake bit e, and his son is left with him. Siddhartha struggles to form a relationship with Young Siddhartha and looks to the Om to teach him patience. ?You put no pressure on him, you do not hit him, you give him no orders, because you know that softness is stronger than hardness, water is stronger than rock, love is stronger than physical force. (64) When Siddhartha finds that he has a son, he is immediately overcome by the blind love a parent feels for their child. As a result he dismisses his sons behavior as the result of Kamalas death. Siddhartha tries to win his son over through friendliness and patience and to show him how to live a good life. He tries to groom his son in his own image, but Young Siddhartha realizes it and resents Siddhartha for doing so. Even though Vasudeva reminds Siddhartha that everyone must follow their own voice to enlightenment, Siddhartha is blinded by love, and he ignores it. Eventually, Young Siddhartha leaves the hut in the middle of the night to go back to the town and Siddhartha comes after him the next morning. He saw Kamaswami, he saw the servants, the banquets, the dice players, the musicians; he saw Kamalas songbird in its cage; he relived all this, he breathed the air of samsara; again he was old and tired, again he felt the disgust, again he felt the wish to obliterate himself, again he recovered, thanks to the sacred omSiddhartha realizedthat he could not help his son.(68) As Siddhartha looks around th e city, he has flashbacks of his life there. Through the om, Siddhartha acknowledges he must let his son go and that no amount of reasoning will convince him to stay. Tho om reminds Siddhartha that no one can teach enlightenment, and that enlightenment must be found within. After his son leaves, Siddhartha dives into learning from the river and Vasudeva. HeSiddhartha listenedit was all one, it was all interwoven and knotted together, interconnected in a thousand ways. And all of this together, all the voices, all the goals, all the longing, all the suffering, all the pleasure, all the good and evil, all of this together was the worldthe great song of a thousand voices consisted of a single word, which was om, the absolute. (73) Siddhartha ceases to struggle with his destiny, he ceases to suffer. His soul merges into the unity of the great perfection that is all of the voices in the world speaking together. No longer knowing whether time existed, whether that vision had lasted a second or a hundred years; no longer knowing whether a Siddhartha, a Gotama, an I or a you existed; wounded in his inmost recesses as if by a divine arrow, the wound from which tastes sweet; enchanted and dissolved in his inmost being, Govinda stood there a little while longer, leaning over Siddharthas quiet face, which had just been kissed, which had just been the theatre of all formations, of all becoming, of all being. (81) Siddharthas face is the epitome of enlightenment which, in the past, was known solely by Gotama. However, after Govindas years of following the Sublime One, finally tasted the Nirvana that Siddhartha emanates. After Govinda experiences this great transcendence, he admits that the path and approach to Nirvana used by Siddhartha was indeed the key to reaching it. This path that Siddhartha exemplified proved to be the more successful route, despite Govindas attempts at believing he could reach Nirvana by alternative means. Govinda ultimately realized reaching enlightenment was not something that could be transferred to students by their teachers, but instead, had to come from within that individual. In Hermann Hesses novel, Siddhartha, the author conveys through Siddarthas experiences of trying to reach Om, that likewise, when any individual has a goal that they are trying to reach, it is a process. There can be setbacks while trying to achieve the goal and oftentimes we learn a great deal from those setbacks and obstacles that we encounter.

Evidence Based Decision Making Administrators and Professionals

Questions: 1. How readily can the concepts of evidence-based decision making be applied in the strategic decision making of health service management executives? Justify your arguments. 2.What leadership style(s) is/are most suitable to manage strategic changes in health care? Justify your answer which includes providing examples of strategic health changes. Answers: 1. Evidence based decision making process can be implemented with the strategic decision making in a health care organisation, with objective of maintaining work continuity and achieving effectiveness in care delivery (Lgar, 2014). Health care executives, administrators and professionals uses the evidence from various researches to implement their opinion, knowledge, and perspectives within their decision-making process of routine care delivery. This concept of clinical services has become an integral part of health care centres all over the world, owing to the fact of proven efficacies in care outcomes, which has been further explained with an example, that can provide clear understanding. Use of evidence-based decision making helps the managers to make strategic planning about how to organise, deliver and operate the health services (Lgar, 2014). For instance, the Australian government uses demographic information, population dynamics, incidence of diseases, and effectiveness of medication (post-marketing surveillance) within the pharmaceutical companies, which allows easy access of the prescribed medicines for community. The measure is also effective in terms that it makes the medication production, cost effective (due to presumed market demand) (Alonso-Coello, 2016). Another example illustrates Australian childhood immunization register which uses the evidence based vaccination policy. According to their earlier statistics, the estimated cost for the vaccination for childhood immunization was supposed to increase from $6 million annually to around $60 million. Here in this case population based observational information was used in determining the increased profit, in conjunction to the expanded vaccination policy (Barry Edgman-Levitan, 2012). The above-mentioned example thus illustrates how the evidence based decision making process renders cost effective solution to manage the health requirement of Australian community, thereby also offering access to medication and immunisation requirements. Similarly, in another case of Australian medical care related to optometrists, the above technique of evidence-based decision making has been used. This clinical practice here includes the diagnosis, analysis, and supervision of dry eye. The Australian optometrists mostly used the phenol red test and tear osmolality test based on the research evidence data of dry eye (Alonso-Coello, 2016). These primary sources of evidence further helped the optometrist practitioners in their routine clinical services that in turn is reflective with optimal standards in managing care delivery of commonwealth. A statistical analysis was done on Australian women suffering from polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) based on the evidence based guidelines, which was subsidized by the Government of Australia (Department of health and ageing). According to the evidence, about 21% of the Australian reproductive-age are facing PCOS, and mostly who are weighty. Thus, in the year 2003, a conclusion was made on PCOS by the Rotterdam consensus workshop based on the guideline and according to it, ultrasound of either oligo or anovulation and polycystic ovaries is implemented as an effective diagnostic tool. Similarly, another such instance was seen in the year 2003, where the national health and research council of Australia provided the evidence based guidelines for the acute low back pain (LBP) to every Australian practitioner. According to the evidence the practitioners supported either of the two methods, that is conducting x-ray if fracture is detected and another is providing appropriate treatment. While it should be noted that practitioners should not implement these evidences blindly, rather they should do proper research and study before implementation in routine services (Melnyk, Gallagher?Ford, Long Fineout?Overholt, 2014). Thus, these examples, explain how the evidence-based decision making is helpful in managing the standards of care delivery and managing customer satisfaction. 2. Change is the key to success for every organisation, especially the health care organisation, where strategic changes have potential to manage the effectiveness and brings positive outcomes. The change can be in the form of structure of the health care departments or in the selection of the treatment procedure, or in the treatment instruments. In this regard, it is noteworthy to mention that the implementation of the change or the innovation might not work properly, because of the wrong implementation procedure (Daly, Jackson, Mannix Hutchinson, 2014). Thus, in a health care organisation proper management and implementation of the change is a matter of key concern which needs to be handled effectively by the medical leaders. For a successful strategic health change management, the medical leader has to properly evaluate, plan and implement the necessary actions and strategies needed. Additionally, the proper coordination of medical leaders and other health care staffs is requisit e to implement the change successfully. The various leadership qualities needed for efficient strategic change management are: Charismatic leadership- In a health care management, a medical leader should be charismatic in order to drive transformation among the medical staffs to successfully implement change in the department. They give new strategic view and preview its positive outcomes to gain maximum support from the staffs (Fulop Mark, 2013). They identify their staffs needs, which includes doctors, nurses, technicians, pharmacists and other employees and bring the change accordingly. Notably, in some cases the patients also disagree to implement the change in the health care system to avoid the risk factor. Thus, a charismatic leader can only direct them towards the change with the use of communication, mentor relationship, and visionary for long term benefits. Visionary leadership- A visionary medical leader has the potential to change the vision of implementation into reality. This leadership style helps in proper evaluation, analysis of the outcomes, and manages the results from the change implementation into visionary objective. Notably, the visionary leader has characteristics of making use of evidences in strategic change plans and also have effective communication skills to convince others (Hurley Hutchinson, 2013). Transformational leadership- The transformational medical leader will always try to initiate change in the health care system by virtue of their perspectives, wisdom, evidence, and justified rationale. They motivate the medical staffs, the senior management and the patients to follow and implement the change in the medical procedure, which in turn is always effective in managing the standards of outcomes (Sebastian, 2014). They use challenging steps to get the higher result in course of time, which marks their attitude of strategic decision making distinct from other leaders. Strategic leadership- A strategic leader within health care settings is generally the head of the organisation, who is always willing to provide change in the research, procedures and medicines. The leaders should provide proper medical training to the doctors and nurses to adopt the new procedures. Note that strategic leader always make use of evidence in the process of strategic planning (Hurley Hutchinson, 2013). Likewise, they also put emphasis on the training and education related framework to bring optimal competency level in their employees. Correspondingly, they also make rationalised usage of evaluation and monitoring framework to achieve efficacy in their implemented strategic changes. References: Alonso-Coello, P., Schnemann, H. Dirt Music Analysis essays

Dirt Music Analysis essays Writers often use the physical landscape of a text as being an integral part of the emotional landscape of the characters. Discuss how this is done with reference to one novel you have read. The conventional use of setting by writers of prose fiction is a key element which helps to create an environment which reflects the feelings of the characters. As characters experience different emotions the landscape often changes to parallel these feelings and emotions. Tim Winton has certainly used setting to a great extent throughout his novel Dirt Music. Also another author Hungerford has used setting in his short story The Only One Who Forgot. Throughout both the novel Dirt Music and the short story The Only One Who Forgot the landscape has been created to enhance the emotional landscape of the characters within. Even from the opening pages of his novel Tim Winton describes the physical landscape in great detail. Georgie Jutland is alone by herself in the very early hours of the morning pointlessly loitering in cyberspace while her husband and two sons are fast asleep. While Georgie is using her computer the surrounding environment is silent. Georgie is thinking it is nice to be without a body. She then goes on to think the internet was an infinite sequence of opening portals, of menus and painless encounters, where what passed for life was a listless kind of browsing. This scene with Georgie all alone at night eating time by browsing the internet suggests she is unhappy with her current situation. She seems unhappy with her life at the moment and is searching for some meaning. Again some clear evidence suggests the setting in a prose fictional text is an important part of characterization. Hungerford has also used setting to create an environment which mirrors characters emotional feelings. In the short story The Only One Who Forgot ...

Fairy Tales Research Paper Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1000 words

Fairy Tales - Research Paper Example Indeed, in fairy tales, the stepmother is usually mean, deceitful and incapable of loving her stepchildren. In this day and age when divorce, separation and single parenthood make having a stepmother a fact of life, it is a wonder why fairy tale stepmothers are still stereotyped as such. Moreover, because of how common having a stepmother is nowadays, it is curious to know how these evil depictions may influence the relationship of today’s children with their stepmothers. One reason behind the evil stepmother character is history, supposedly. Author Maria Warner writes that fairy tales may be influenced by the happenings in society during the time the stories were written. Death at childbirth was common in earlier times so having a new mother was a usual occurrence. Warner believes that making the stepmother wicked in fairy tales served as a warning for readers during that time and points to real-life tragedies where an offspring is killed so the stepmother’s child can inherit the father’s riches. (Sellers) Another explanation for this depiction comes from Bruno Bettelheim and other critics who have psycho-analyzed fairy tales. According to this group, the portrait of an evil stepmother is actually a projection of the bad side a good mother has. (Tatar) Supposedly, an individual does not feel as guilty hating the bad qualities of one’s mom epitomized by the malevolent stepmother. With this image of a mother’s evilness, â€Å"mom† is able to remain the loving and good-natured parent, always wanting the best for her child. Writer Patricia Watson shares that in Europe during the writing of Hansel and Gretel, peasants abandoned their children because they did not have enough food to feed them (Watson) and thus it was easier to hate a â€Å"stepmom† for this. It is noteworthy, too, how the stepmother is made to be jealous of her stepdaughter’s beauty or good qualities. In Snow White, the Evil Queen who is vain becomes angry when her magic mirror says its famous line: â€Å"Snow White is the fairest of all.† (Grimm) Her anger led her to think of ways on how to get rid of Snow White in her world. Wanting to look pretty and young is not a problem and cannot e viewed as a mistake on the stepmother’s side. Everyone wants to look young and good. What made her evil though is her banishing of Snow White from the castle and trying to kill her. Although having a bad stepmother may be common in this age of divorce and separation, it has not been a regular occurrence for stepmothers to kill their stepdaughter or stepson. In Cinderella, the vain stepmother forces Cinderella to work in her own house, maybe in an attempt to make the pretty stepdaughter dirty-looking and unpleasant. She also makes it hard for Cinderella to attend the Prince’s ball by giving her so many chores and then locking the child up in her room. (Cinderella) In 2007, a self-study about the relationship of a ste pmother and stepdaughter was released to the public. The researchers were members of one family who exemplified one of the most common contemporary family structures – a stepfamily. The researchers discovered that the â€Å"wicked stepmother† title is most times brought about by anger that the biological child cannot express towards the biological mother and by negative stereotypes that the child hears. (Strawn and Knox) This research is important. It

International business Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1000 words

International business - Essay Example It would be prudent to examine why world over free-trade agreements between the nations have got so much importance in last few decades. Suranovic (2010) describes following key reasons behind any international trade between the nations. Resource Differences Each country differs in availability of resources, especially natural resources such as mines, minerals, energy sources, water and crucial raw materials. This resource benefits put them into advantage over other countries to produce good. Technological Differences Technological differences put one country ahead of other because deploying better technology country can produce goods at lower cost using lower resources. Economies of Scale Economies of scale put one country into advantage over others because that helps reduce the cost of production. Those who fail to operate at the economies of scale will be at disadvantageous situation. It is obvious that global demand will rush toward the lowest production centers. Government Regul ations Tariffs imposed on the imported goods or subsidies provided to domestic producers can boost or bust the trade between the nations. ... That augurs well for the overall growth of the market. Inefficient domestic producers are the biggest sufferers who cannot stand due to their non competitiveness. Their inability to compete with the good from other countries could be for any reason; however, they opine that they should be protected if domestic workers’ jobs are to be saved (Suranovic, 2010, Ch.2). The Ricardian Model states that free trade raises production and consumption efficiencies. It also states that labor is mobile and economy achieves full employment soon; however, in the real world full employment cannot be achieved due to impending complexities of the market. Labor productivity changes when they move one from one market to another. In reality it does not remain a win-win situation for all. One group of workers who have a competitive advantage get benefitted in terms of real income but at the same time other groups of workers lose on real wages. That is to say, a free trade arranges redistribution of the income among participatory nations (Suranovic, 2010, Ch.2). US Free trade with Latin America, Central America and the Caribbean needs to be seen in the above perspectives. US entered into a free trade agreement with the five countries of the Central American namely Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Dominican Republic. The agreement is known as CA-DR FTA. The textile and clothing sector is the most vibrant nontraditional and industrial export sector of the Central America which is responsible for most of the foreign exchange earnings. Thus, the biggest impact that the US industries may experience will be in textiles, apparel and leather sectors (Jensen et al., 2007 p.1). Butcher and Stamps (2004) state that the economic benefits to the US economy are mixed in

Music Styles - Comparative Essay Essay Example for Free

Music Styles Comparative Essay Essay The first artist/composer is Johann Chrysostom Wolfgang, who is better known as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart but around the world he just known as Mozart. Mozart is such a ‘famous’ composer as throughout the classical era (1750-1820) although he may not have been recognized at the time he was a creative and influential composer. Not many could argue that a man who composed over six hundred works was not influential. Also many of those six hundred works were acknowledged as the peak of symphonic, concertante, chamber, piano, operatic, and choral music. You can now start to see why he was such a significant composer. The second artist/composer is Ludwig van Beethoven, otherwise referred to as simply Beethoven. Beethoven was considered a German composer and pianist. Similarly to Mozart he began his musical career in the classical era (1750-1820) but differently to Mozart he was a crucial figure within the transitional stage between the Classical and Romantic eras in western classical music.

Mono Basin Volcanism Essay -- Geology Volcanoes Volcano Papers

Mono Basin Volcanism The last basin in the Basin and Range before the Sierra Nevada Mountain range is the Mono Basin. The Mono Basin consists of landforms such as the Mono-Inyo Craters, Black Point, Negit Island, Paoha Island, Mono Lake, Devils Punch Bowl, Panum Crater, and some others (Hamburger et al; 2004). All of these landforms were created by volcanism. Actually, the Mono Basin is in one of the most volcanically active places in the world (Forest Service; 2004). Paoha Island, Negit Island, and Panum Crater are the most recent volcanoes to erupt, which are the furthest north in the basin. The volcanoes' ages tend to get older the further south they are from Panum Crater; with the exception of Paoha. Eruptions in the Mono Basin have tended to occur in five hundred year intervals over the past two thousand to three thousand years (Molossia; 2004). Hot springs and fumeroles and other signs show that this area is still active (USDA; 97). Though there has not been any volcanic eruptions in the las t six hundred years, there is still evidence of volcanic unrest in the Mono Basin area. (The Picture above compliments of USGS). The Mono Craters were all formed within the last forty thousand years. These craters are localized on a north-trending fissure system that starts at the south of Mammoth Mountain up through the western moat to the north shore of Mono Lake; this system extends about fifty kilometers (USGS;2004). There are thirty domes that formed together (Molossia;2004). They were originally formed by the intrusion of a dike. About six hundred years ago when the magma began rising in the southern end of the Mono-Inyo Craters there was a series of eruptions and ground cracking. The Theory Of Management And Management - 1294 Words

Introduction Since its early days, management has been studied by various theorists and has provided scholars with much to study and discuss. Early principles were developed and expounded upon. Research and studies allowed the field to grow and evolve as improvements and new discoveries were made. Theorists soon discovered the complexity of management and that there was no single way to manage all people or circumstances. This observation led theorists to research various methods to bring a level of flexibility into management. One tactic management may use to provide the flexibility required for various situations is the contingency approach. This is approach recognizes that organizations are different, thus they require different management methods (Robbins Coulter, 2007, p. 39). Fiedler’s Contingency Model states that a leader’s character and situation are the two factors affecting performance (Greer Plunket, 2003; Mitchell, Biglan, Oncken Fiedler, 1970). Each of these two factors has variables involved such as task or relationship oriented as part of their character and how much the leader feels accepted, whether a task is structured versus defined, and the level of power he or she has over others as part of their situation (Greer Plunket, 2003; Mitchell et al., 1970).
